PLAYING WITH A PICK



The work of the right hand has always been the neglected part of guitarists.
In fact, they always favors the hand that is on the neck. The right hand is only carrying out decisions of the left hand.
The PocketPicker brings an alternative to daily practice.
For the patterns of the left hand, one can also decline patterns of the right hand.

It is up to the left hand to submit to that new work. You can adapt your scales to the figures imposed by your pick and find new licks, but also in a more conventional work, gain in precision and discover news "dynamics " by working cycles of different accents.

All these exercises represent only an approach of the work, and are only the origin of what can exist. one could find hundreds of others. Each of them will give you surely other more personal ideas. Exploit...
This is a book to do yourself.
Start slowly, don’t hurry. stay for a while on the same tempo untill you feel at ease, then accelerate slightly: don’t jump from 60 to 120. Find the upper tempo that objectivly gives you a problem.
